Base Locations

The Skye Mountain Rescue team has two main bases located at Sligachan and Glenbrittle which were built with the generous help of the St. John Scotland. These act as base stations and incident control centres during rescues.

As well as the main mountain rescue bases the team also stores equipment Portree along with a control van to enable a more rapid response to incidents on the island.
