The team hold regular training sessions both in the huts as well as excercises on the hill. These training exercises include rope work, care of the casualty, first aid, helicopter safety, navigation and the use of radios. Members also attend specialist training courses in other parts of Scotland.

The slideshow below shows a typical winter excercise in December 2008. The day included practising winter skills such as ice axe arrests in Fionn Choire, a search for a casualty and night time lower of the stretcher down the north face of Bruach na Frithe.
